Cellular Nuggets

I'm over in Belgium at the moment, housed up in ICP Studios in Brussel, spending time with Kids In Glass Houses as they record their 3rd record. Its sounding massive (standard). I find myself very fortunate to be here, to witness everything being laid down, to witness new ideas being developed...basically I'm witnessing flow in progress. Its a great thing. As you can imagine I've taken loads of photos and have been putting these together as I go along. Right now I'm waiting on the green light to get these out, to share what's happening here. In the meantime I'm flicking through my phone finding pictures of people, places and times that I decided to hold onto for some reason. I'm a sucker for memories and reminiscing, one of the knockbacks of getting older. This bunch are probably more for me to be fair...you might like some though.

The First Trip Into Pop

In Febuary I started working for Katy B and we headed out on tour supporting Tinie Tempah. It was my first time on a 'Pop' tour, although I hate that term as the lines between so-called scenes is pretty non-existent these days.Music is music, like what you like.Anyway, I'm off the point.I had a great time....(although Tinie's soundchecks were a bit of a chore, but you just got to get it SO right!), everyone in our crew was really safe, great musicians and above all, great people.I'm looking forward to heading out again and taking on some other towns and festivals over the next few months. Bring it.

Bastards,Brawlers and Orphans

Time to kill today so I dragged up some shots that have been kicking round my computer for a while now...not old just a few randoms that I like looking at.
P.S. The title for this particular blog thing is taken from a Tom Waits album...if you dont know him you're blatantly a fool. Go check out his work now....Tom Waits Wikipedia

The Punk Rock Interlude

On a recent tour I got a day off in Glasgow, met up with my good friend Ian Arthur, who these days looks like a terrorist, and drove across to Edinburgh to see The Computers and Gay For Johnny Depp. Never seen either band before but enjoyed them both. Good times, here are some snaps.
